Debee earned her first amateur radio license in 1996, and currently holds and Advanced class license with the call sign KF6BKR.  She eventually talked Bob into studying for a Technician license (the easiest one!) and, after passing the test, he received the call sign KF6TBN in 1998.

Bob and Debee are both active in the Milpitas Amateur Radio Emergency Service, MARES.  Debee enjoys HF contesting, and last year at the MARES Field Day she made over 200 contacts.
